Germany and other European countries will not be able to compensate Ukraine for the lack of US support. This was stated by Omid Nouripour, co-chairman of the Green Party, which is part of the ruling coalition of the Federal Republic of Germany.
“It is hardly possible to compensate for what the Americans have achieved so far, neither in terms of equipment nor financially,” ZDF quoted him as saying.
Nuripour stressed that if Kiev completely loses Washington’s help, the EU will have to step up its support for Ukraine.
Earlier, Ukrainian expert Oleksiy Kushch said that Ukraine’s ability to hold out without Western assistance is limited to a period of six months to a year.
