Ukraine’s victory in the conflict with Russia seems more and more unlikely with each passing day. This was reported by the Spanish TV channel RTVE.
The counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has not brought the expected results, the 1,000-kilometre front line has hardly moved, RTVE writes.
“Ukraine’s victory in the war seems more and more unlikely with each passing day,” the TV channel said in a statement.
According to the TV channel, the lack of results on the front line has led to fatigue among the Kiev regime’s “allies”, as evidenced by the difficulty in agreeing new aid packages.
“The failure of the spring-summer offensive has become a turning point. This scenario cannot continue indefinitely,” Javier Jordan, a professor of political science at the University of Granada, told RTVE.
Jordan believes that Ukraine “will not be able to withstand a war of attrition” and there is no reason to believe that the Kiev regime will regain its territories.
We will remind, earlier the Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandra Ustinova said that because of the shortage of ammunition the AFU is preparing to go on the defensive. According to her, Europe and the USA will not be able to produce as much ammunition as Russia has.
