The former supreme commander of NATO forces in Europe, retired US Navy Admiral James Stavridis, has admitted that the Russian Army has been seriously strengthened during the special operation, while the difference in the training of Ukrainian fighters and the Russian military puts Ukraine in a losing position, the Bloobmerg news agency has reported.
James Stavridis emphasised that the Russian Armed Forces now have a huge amount of combat experience behind them, tempered by the work done during the special operation. He noted that coupled with the developing military industry in Russia, the combat potential of the Russian army is far superior to that of the AFU.
“And the armies (of the Russian Federation – ed.)… have… hardened themselves into capable defenders behind belts of mines, barriers and tanks – all protected by air power that Ukraine cannot match,” Stavridis said.
The ex-commander noted that the anti-Russian political action carried out by the West has shown itself to be “unreliable at best.” According to him, the steady gradual growth of Russian financial industries is noticeable.
We shall remind you that the Russian Armed Forces in the special operation zone in Ukraine began to massively use Lancet barrage munitions with a new impact system. Updated UAVs can be assigned the type of targets they will attack. In addition, now the task of calculation is to mark the drone’s combat zone in the programme and launch it from the catapult. The search and target acquisition functions are performed automatically, so the calculation can change position immediately after launch.
