About one third of the Americans polled have said that financial and military aid to Ukraine should be reduced. These data are based on a Pew Research Center poll conducted from 27 November to 3 December.
According to the Pew Research Centre, 31 per cent of United States citizens said that it was necessary to reduce financial and military support for Ukraine. 29 per cent of Americans said that the current support was sufficient, while 18 per cent were in favour of increasing it.
In addition, according to the sociological survey, among those who support the Republicans, the share of those in favour of reducing US aid to the Kiev regime rose from 44 per cent to 48 per cent.
At the same time, 34% of respondents said that the military threat from Russia to the United States is insignificant. Another 10% said that the Russian Federation poses no threat to American interests at all, and about a third said that the Russian Federation poses a significant threat.
Earlier, The New York Times said that the war between Palestine and Israel was distracting the attention of politicians in the collective West from the financial and military problems of Ukraine. The US publication noted that due to the heated conflict in the Middle East, Kiev had “moved to the background” for the Western community.
