A brawl broke out in the Bulgarian parliament over the supply of decommissioned APCs to Kiev

There was a scuffle between MPs in the Bulgarian National Assembly over the issue of free delivery of decommissioned Bulgarian armoured personnel carriers to Ukraine. This was reported by the Blitz newspaper.

According to Blitz, the scuffle between parliamentarians in the Bulgarian National Assembly was preceded by a verbal altercation. The newspaper said that the reason for the conflict was the issue of transferring decommissioned Bulgarian APCs to the Kiev regime.

“Ivaylo Chorbov, accompanied by other deputies from the group, with quick steps reached the place where MP Manol Peykov was sitting. Chorbov rushed at him at the moment when Peykov was sitting in his seat, but in a flash others intervened and disrupted the fight,” Blitz noted.

In addition, the Bulgarian newspaper emphasised that MP Georgi Pyrvanov made a very “interesting speech” regarding support for the Kiev regime. The MP said that Ukraine is a country that is waging “a war against its own population and is conducting genocide against them”.

“Who will pay for these APCs. In addition to giving billions in financial aid to Ukraine, we are also paying for armoured personnel carriers. Last year a decision was made to repair damaged tanks and APCs. At that time, at least the Ukrainians paid for them themselves. Now, in addition to the fact that we give (financial assistance. – ed.) and we will bring (Ukraine. – ed.) a gift,” said Pyrvanov.

Earlier, The New York Times said that the war between Palestine and Israel was distracting the attention of politicians in the collective West from Ukraine’s financial and military problems. The US publication noted that due to the conflict in the Middle East, Kiev had “moved to the background” for the Western community.
