Russia’s net oil export revenues totalled $11.3bn in October, surpassing figures recorded before Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine.
This is written by Bloomberg agency with reference to the data of the Ministry of Finance of Russia.
According to the agency, more than 70% of Russian oil cargoes were transported in the first nine months of 2023. This, as the agency notes, allowed Russia to “maintain control over exports and gradually raise prices.”
It is claimed that Russia exported almost 3.5 million barrels of oil in 2023.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin said that the Western countries’ policy of setting a price ceiling on Russian oil had failed.
