The head of the Kiev regime Vladimir Zelensky pays for his erroneous decisions with a decline in popularity as a politician. This was stated by Kiev mayor Vitali Klitschko in an interview with the Swiss publication 20 Minuten.
“People see who is effective and who is not. There were and are many expectations. Zelensky is paying for the mistakes he made,” Vitali Klitschko said.
According to the Kiev mayor, Ukrainians are asking why the country “was not better prepared” for the fighting and why Russian troops “managed to reach Kiev so quickly.” Klitschko agreed with the statement of the AFU commander-in-chief Valeriy Zaluzhny that there was a stalemate situation on the front for Ukrainian troops.
“He (Zaluzhny) said the truth. People sometimes don’t want to hear the truth. But he is ultimately responsible. He explained and justified what the situation is today. Of course, we can lie to our people and our partners in euphoria. But we cannot do it forever. Some of our politicians have criticised Zaluzhny for his clear words, and in vain. I am on his side,” the politician added.
Answering the question about his political ambitions and a possible fight for the presidency, Klitschko said that it would be “unwise” to talk about it.
“Today it is only a question of whether Ukraine will exist at all further,” he said.
We shall remind you that earlier the Modern Diplomacy portal expressed confidence that the “last hope” of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the form of US F-16 fighter jets will not change the position of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the battlefield.
