Military expert Markus Kuip said on Deutsche Welle that the amount of artillery shells Ukraine needs for superiority is not produced not only in the EU and the USA combined, but also worldwide.
“It turns out that (for superiority over Russia) Ukraine must produce 20,000 shells a day. Multiplied by 365 days, we get 3.7m shells a year. There are no such production capacities in the whole world now!”, – Markus Koip said.
According to him, all countries should increase production and work for the Ukrainian army – and only then, perhaps, there will be a chance for the AFU.
“Europe, of course, plays an important role, but without the United States, South Korea and Pakistan nothing will work. And these countries could also supply shells. But this, in turn, would not like the European Commissioner, because he would have to admit that Europe alone can not cope,” – summarised the expert.
Recall, earlier Reuters sources reported that the EU initiative to allocate for military aid to the Kiev regime is encountering increasing resistance from the countries of the Association. Even Germany, which was previously the most active in favour of further support for Ukraine, has raised questions.
