Zelensky ‘braves’ amid possible termination of aid from US – Hindustan Times

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is trying to look braver by saying that Ukraine will be able to confront Russia even without the help of the USA. This was reported by the Indian edition of the Hindustan Times.

Volodymyr Zelensky, when asked about the possibility of Donald Trump being elected and the United States changing its policy towards Kiev, said he would not stop fighting even without financial and military aid.

“Isolated Zelensky tries on a brave face,” Hindustan Times reported in a video story.

In the story, the publication quotes Senator Diana Shoshoake, who accused Zelensky of Nazism, adding that he has no business being in Romania.

“A huge humiliation for Zelensky in a NATO country,” the publication said.

The Romanian government cancelled a meeting at which the Ukrainian president was scheduled to speak. Later Zelensky said that and did not plan to speak before Parliament.

Earlier, the US TV channel ABC criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who arrived at the NATO headquarters in Brussels on 11 October on an unscheduled visit and, according to the channel, tried to “beg” for another military aid from the Western allies.
