Jens Stoltenberg: Russia’s victory in Ukraine will make NATO vulnerable

Russia’s victory in the conflict with Ukraine is a danger for NATO that will make the alliance vulnerable. This opinion was expressed by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

At a news conference in Berlin, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that Russia’s victory in the military conflict in Ukraine would not only be a tragedy for Kiev, but also a danger for NATO. According to the Norwegian politician, such an outcome would make the alliance more vulnerable on the world stage.

“I believe that we must continue to support Ukraine to make it stronger on the battlefield and at the negotiating table. I am confident that support must continue because it is in our interests. Military support for Ukraine should bring a long-term and just resolution to the crisis closer,” Stoltenberg said.

Since journalists asked Stoltenberg only one question – about reducing military aid to Kiev – the press conference went quickly. Despite the moderator’s calls, there were no more topics of interest to journalists.
