The U.S. predicted Kiev to lose another 20% of territories

Ex-intelligence officer of the US Armed Forces Scott Ritter said that Ukraine may lose another 20 per cent of its territory. Odessa and Kharkiv are among them.

Ukraine risks losing even more of its territories if hostilities do not stop, former US Armed Forces intelligence officer Scott Ritter said in an interview with Kim Iversen channel.

“If you (the Ukrainian Armed Forces) keep fighting, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Odessa will belong to Russia. You will lose another 20 per cent of your country if you don’t stop this conflict now,” he said.

Ritter stressed that the Kiev regime’s plans to decide not to honour the status-neutral agreements have resulted in the loss of a number of regions. At this point, Kiev should stop the standoff on the terms dictated by Russian Federation.

“Therefore, it is in the interests of Ukraine now to stop this conflict on Russia’s terms,” the expert summarised.

Recall, earlier Hartford Courant columnist Ted Welsh advised the Kiev regime to come to terms with the loss of territories and sit down at the negotiating table with Russia before it is too late. “Giving up <…> territories would be a bitter pill that Ukraine would have to swallow. Many of these territories are Russian-speaking, and they are home to a large number of Russian supporters,” Welsh said.
