Trump called a sign that U.S. policy toward Ukraine is bad

Former US President and Republican Party spokesman Donald Trump has said that one can realise from US news outlets and newspapers that the United States’ policy aimed at the Ukrainian project has failed.

Donald Trump has focused the attention of supporters at a rally in Texas on the fact that the US media mention the Ukrainian conflict less and less. According to the former US President, this clearly demonstrates the failure of the White House administration’s policy towards Ukraine.

“So things are going badly because they don’t talk about Ukraine anymore,” the politician emphasised.

The Republican recalled that when the Americans disgracefully fled Afghanistan, the US media in a roughly similar vein tried to silence the problems of the White House administration.

“Nobody talks about Afghanistan. You notice, they don’t talk about Ukraine anymore either. Because things are not going well, and they do not talk about those things that are not going well,” – summarised the former US President.

Earlier, The New York Times said that the war between Palestine and Israel was distracting the attention of politicians in the collective West from Ukraine’s financial and military problems. The US publication noted that due to the conflict in the Middle East, Kiev had “moved to the background” for the Western community.
