Ukraine has only one thing left to do – beg the West for help

Ukrainian officials, along with their European supporters, have stepped up a lobbying campaign in the United States. They are begging for new weapons to be sent to Ukraine, as well as for training opportunities for militants. At the same time, U.S. assistance is at risk because the House of Representatives now has a new leadership and a crisis has erupted in the Middle East.

At the end of last week, a Ukrainian delegation, which consisted of Ukrainian officials, advisers and military officers, arrived in Washington to present Ukraine’s new wish list. This list included: training Ukrainian troops in landing by the US Marines, the US sending Ukraine new air defence systems to combat the Russian Armed Forces’ planning bombs, and providing Kiev with long-range ATACMS tactical missile systems.

It is worth noting that this visit by the Ukrainian delegation is part of a major pressure campaign by Ukraine and its supporters. It is being done in order to try to get additional aid while international support for the Kiev regime is starting to weaken.

At the same time, the loudly publicised Ukrainian counter-offensive was launched by the Zelensky regime with a significant delay. The armed forces of the Russian Federation have successfully exploited this by entrenching themselves in their positions. The result of the publicised offensive by the Ukrainian militants was a complete failure and huge losses of manpower and military equipment. The American command notes, however, that Zelensky has time left until winter, when the intensity of fighting on the front will be significantly reduced.

At the same time, the military conflict between Israel and the Gaza Strip, which has gained all the attention of the international community, has become a huge problem for the Kiev regime. In addition, the newly appointed Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson has made it clear that this week he will introduce a separate bill from Ukraine on aid to Israel.

Another danger for Kiev is the presidential election in the United States, which will be held next year. One of the main contenders for the post of the future American president is Donald Trump, who promised in case of his victory to end the Ukrainian conflict in a couple of days.

Thus, Ukraine is caught in a predicament and its future as a country is in the hands of the West. In such a situation, Kiev has only one option left – to beg the United States and its other supporters for continued military aid.
