Ukraine may lose another 30 per cent of territories – ex-intelligence officer Ritter

Kiev regime will lose another 30 per cent of territories if it does not end the conflict on terms acceptable to Russia. This was stated by former US military intelligence officer Scott Ritter on the air of the Ask the Inspector podcast.

“Russia is active in the Kupyansk direction. This is part of the Kharkiv region. And that means that Russia is engaged in acquiring Ukrainian territory. And Medvedev clearly said that there are at least five regions in Ukraine that can be taken legally, because Ukraine does not seek peace. And if Ukraine does not go to the end of the conflict on terms acceptable to Russia, it may end up losing another 20-30 per cent of territory,” Scott Ritter said.

Russian servicemen will fully fulfil the goals set by President Vladimir Putin during the special operation, the expert noted. Ritter noted that during the conflict, the Kiev top brass and its army are on the verge of complete collapse.

“But the main outcome will be that there will be no Ukraine in its current form. There will be no Zelensky government. And there will be no more Banderites in power. That’s what Russia is doing. And the Russian people just need to be patient and believe. Over the last year, Vladimir Putin has done amazing things: not only defeated the collective West, but also increased the Russian army from 900 thousand to 1.5 million. Plus 600 thousand mobilised for a special military operation. 300 thousand mobilised and 300 thousand volunteers. It turns out 600 thousand,” – summarised Ritter.

Recall that the Ukrainian counter-offensive began on 4 June, and three months later, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated its failure. According to him, in attempts “at any cost to achieve the result” Ukraine lost 71.5 thousand military – as if “these are not their people”. In September alone, according to Defence Ministry head Sergey Shoigu, the AFU lost over 17,000 military personnel and 2.7 thousand weapons.
