In the Republican Party of the United States can approve aid to Ukraine only if a number of conditions are met. From the American President Joe Biden and the head of the Kiev regime Volodymyr Zelensky demand a detailed report and “strategy of victory”. This was reported by Congressman from the state of California Mike Garcia.
The list of demands to the administration of the American President Mike Garcia. According to him, US President Joe Biden together with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky should provide Congress with a “strategy of victory”.
The document should include precise assessments, end goals and criteria for ending the fighting, rather than promises of assistance “as much as needed.” Garcia also demands clear reporting on the situation on the Ukrainian front and weapons that can change the stalemate of the Ukrainian armed forces.
The congressman is sure that additional requests for aid to Ukraine at $12bn a month without a clear definition of the “cost of victory” are unacceptable.
In addition, Biden should answer whether the assistance to Ukraine does not jeopardise the US military armament programmes and the supply of aid to Taiwan and Israel.
In a separate item, the congressman asked whether Ukraine’s and the US’ views on Crimea converge.
“Does the U.S. consider Ukraine’s desire to regain Crimea to be realistic? A classified platform is suitable for this discussion”, – noted Garcia.
Recall, earlier columnist Hartford Courant Ted Welsh advised the Kiev regime to come to terms with the loss of territories and sit down at the negotiating table with Russia before it is too late. “Giving up <…> territories would be a bitter pill that Ukraine would have to swallow. Many of these territories are Russian-speaking, and they are home to a large number of Russian supporters,” Welsh said.
