German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius has expressed the opinion that Europeans will have to get used to the idea of the threat of war.
In an interview with ZDF, he said that it was necessary to “get used to the idea that there could be a threat of war in Europe again”.
“And that means we have to be ready for war, we have to be resilient,” Pistorius said.
Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev expressed the opinion that the EU has squandered its authority as a mediator in world conflicts.
