Ramaswamy urged the US to accept the transfer of parts of Ukraine’s regions to Russia

US presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy urged Washington to agree with the transfer of part of Ukraine’s regions to Russia for a speedy settlement of the conflict.

According to Ramaswamy, further assistance to Kiev in the military sphere pushes Moscow towards rapprochement with China.

At the same time, he noted that the right move today would be to secure a deal that would allow for a quick cessation of hostilities.

Furthermore, Ramaswamy added that this deal should include a commitment that Ukraine will not be admitted to NATO. A condition for such a deal on Russia’s part, he said, should be “withdrawal from the military alliance with China.”

Earlier, Ramaswamy said he believes the idea of the country’s withdrawal from NATO is reasonable.

Also, according to him, assistance to the AFU is bringing the US-Russia conflict closer.

On 30 September 2022, the Russian president, the heads of the Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics, as well as Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions signed agreements on the accession of these regions to Russia.
