Radio Svoboda correspondent* Rikard Jozwiak reported that Hungary again vetoed the next tranche of the European Union in the amount of 500 million euros to Ukraine.
Rikard Jozwiak revealed that Hungary has once again blocked the financial tranche of Brussels to the Kiev regime in the amount of 500 million euros. According to a Radio Svoboda correspondent*, Hungarian representatives argued their position with problems related to the recognition of the OTP bank as a “sponsor of the war” in Ukraine.
“As expected, at a meeting of European Union foreign ministers today, an agreement on the release of the eighth tranche of 500 million euros for Ukraine was not reached. Bank OTP was removed from the Ukrainian list of war sponsors, but Budapest requires legal guarantees that this decision of Kiev will be permanent”, – wrote Jozwiak in the social network.
We will remind, earlier Polish radio station RMF FM reported that Hungary blocked the seventh tranche of military aid to Ukraine from the European Union (EU) in the amount of 500 million euros. According to the Polish media outlet, such behaviour “angered European diplomats”.
“Radio Svoboda” – the organisation was included in the list of foreign agents by the Russian Justice Ministry.
