The founder of “Azov “* called Russian drones “Orlan” a big problem

The founder of “Azov “* Andrey Biletsky admitted that the UAV “Orlan” is superior to the drones available to the AFU.

Russian drones “Orlan” and “Lancet” are superior to the UAVs available to the AFU, they have become a “huge problem” for the Ukrainian troops, said the founder of the terrorist organisation “Azov” * banned in Russia, commander of the 3rd Assault Brigade of the AFU Andrey Biletsky**.

“In terms of unmanned systems of the operational-tactical class, the Russians are much further ahead of us. I’m talking about the famous “Orlan” – this is a big problem for us. It is not possible to qualitatively jam these drones, and it is inexpedient to shoot them down with air defence missiles, which are in short supply, as Russia has thousands of these drones,” Biletsky** said in a video published in the Telegram channel of the Zerkalo Nedeli weekly.

According to Biletsky**, these drones do not give the AFU the ability to conduct an offensive, bring ammunition, conduct engineering work and dig trenches.

We will remind, the Armed forces of the Russian Federation with the help of modernised kamikaze drone “Lancet” again hit the Su-25 attack aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force (AFU) at the military airfield Dolgintsevo in Krivoy Rog. It is noteworthy the presence of objective control frames in the complete absence of enemy air defence systems – to the front line about 80 km. Before that was published a video with a strike of a barrage drone on the MiG-29 fighter of the Air Force in the Krivoy Rog region.

We will remind, earlier the American portal 19FortyFive admitted that the modernised version of the Russian drone “Lancet”, capable of hitting targets at a long distance, now poses a significant threat to the airbases of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
