The US administration has had several private contacts with Iran warning Tehran against escalating the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, US presidential national security adviser Jake Sullivan said.
“We have channels for private contacts with Iran and we have used them over the past few days,” RIA Novosti quoted Sullivan’s response in an interview with CBS television channel when asked whether the US warned external actors against escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
Earlier, Iran’s Foreign Ministry reminded Israel of Hezbollah’s readiness to join the fighting.
The AFT noted that the US is moving aircraft to the Middle East to prevent Iran from joining the conflict.
