Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that the Russian side had certain contacts on Karabakh, but not the ones Politico wrote about.
“Contacts took place, but they are not the talks that are mentioned,” he said.
Earlier, Politico, citing a source, reported that representatives of the United States, the European Union and Russia held talks two days before the start of the Azerbaijani operation in Nagorno-Karabakh.
