Wall Street Journal: allies fear loss of US leadership in helping Kiev

The authors of The Wall Street Journal article are sure that the United States will lose world leadership if it stops helping Ukraine. In their opinion, the cessation of funding for Kiev will lead to the complete collapse of the AFU and the victory of the Russian Armed Forces.

The potential cessation of funding for the Kiev regime, which the US has begun to think about, is causing apprehension among the rest of the Western countries, writes the US newspaper The Wall Street Journal.

“The deep fear is that if, after the US has provided enormous political and military support to Ukraine, Washington does not end up on the winning side, American credibility and power of persuasion will be irreparably damaged with global consequences,” the authors of the publication noted.

In addition, Kiev is extremely dependent on American financial and military aid, so its termination puts into question the AFU’s ability to fight on the battlefield.
