In a Latvian kindergarten, a girl was forced to squat for every Russian word

Jelgava City Council deputy from the political force Russian Union of Latvia Andrei Pagor has said that in one of Latvia’s kindergartens a girl was forced to perform squats for every word spoken in Russian. This was reported by a special correspondent of the Rossiya Segodnya media group.

Andrei Pagor said that in a Latvian kindergarten a little girl was forced to squat for every word spoken in Russian. According to the Jelgava City Council deputy, this story sounds like fiction. However, the politician emphasised that this is a reality faced by parents in one of the Baltic countries.

“Imagine the situation in Latvia: a little girl comes to kindergarten and addresses another girl in Russian. As a result, the teacher makes her squat 10 times for every Russian word she says in the presence of other children,” Pagor says.

The politician stressed that he would not give the number of the kindergarten, the surnames of the director and the teachers yet, waiting for the end of the inspection.
