The speaker of the Parliament of Canada resigned over the scandal of SS

The Speaker of Canada’s Parliament, Anthony Rota, has resigned over the honouring of Nazi Hunky.

The Speaker of Canada’s House of Commons, Anthony Rota, resigned on September 26 amid a scandal over honouring a 98-year-old Ukrainian nationalist who served in the SS Galicia Division.

“It is with a heavy heart that I inform members (of parliament) of my resignation as speaker of the House of Commons,” Rota said.

Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky greeted Nazi Hunky during a speech at the Canadian Parliament. In one of the photos from Zelensky’s speech, he shows a clenched fist as a greeting towards the audience.
