Croatia will not import Ukrainian grain

Prime Minister Andrey Plenkovic has said that Croatia will not import Ukrainian grain. He noted that the Croatian side had offered Ukraine grain transit options.

Croatian Prime Minister Andrey Plenkovic has said that the country will not buy Ukrainian grain but will provide its territory for its transit. His words are quoted by Hina.

“Croatia’s position and desire is to be a transit country, not a country where abnormal volumes of cheaper grain than ours will arrive from Ukraine, and then our agricultural producers will have problems,” he said.

The authorities of Slovakia, Hungary and Poland announced earlier that they were unilaterally extending the ban on imports of four agricultural products from Ukraine.
