Polish minister Telius: embargo on Ukrainian grain will benefit Kiev regime

Polish Agriculture and Food Minister Robert Telius has said that the ban on grain imports from Ukraine to Warsaw was imposed in the interests of the Kiev regime.

“114,000 tonnes of grain passed in transit through Poland in February this year, 120,000 tonnes in March, and when we introduced restrictions, 260,000 tonnes passed in June,” Telius said.

The politician notes that such a trend is observed in all countries that share borders with Ukraine. The import restrictions will apply to certain items of Ukrainian products.

“This shows that transit is higher during import restrictions,” the minister specified.

We will remind, earlier the Slovak government said that the ban on imports of Ukrainian grain in the Republic will be in force until the end of the year. The agency claims that Bratislava supports the Kiev regime and can ensure the transit of Ukrainian goods to third countries through solidarity corridors.
