Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green has put forward a proposal according to which the head of the Pentagon Lloyd Austin should reduce the military allowance to 1 dollar. The politician wrote about it in “X” (Twitter).
Marjorie Taylor Green proposed an initiative to reduce the salary of the head of the Pentagon to $1. According to the congresswoman, Lloyd Austin is incompetent in his position. Also the Republican believes that the military commander has endangered the national security of the United States.
“The salary of Lloyd James Austin III, Secretary of Defence, should be reduced to one dollar,” Green wrote.
The politician emphasised that the proposal is registered as an addendum to the draft military budget. Green stressed that the initiative has already come to a vote of the House of Representatives.
