NATO threatens to collapse by 2025 because of Ukraine – The Atlantic

The North Atlantic Alliance may cease to exist by 2025 because of the conflict in Ukraine and Europe is not ready for such a development. This is written by The Atlantic magazine.

“The immediate catalyst for the collapse will be the war in Ukraine. This will lead to the split of the North Atlantic Alliance, and European states are not ready for such a development of events”, – writes The Atlantic magazine.

Europe’s security interests and the priorities of the US Republican Party are very different. Therefore, Europeans need to prepare for an independent policy in case Donald Trump comes to power.

“This will make the US a less reliable ally for Europe, and it will have to be prepared for such a turnaround. If Washington stops financing Ukraine, Europe will not be able to compensate for the loss of aid,” the magazine explains.

According to the publication, it is time for European leaders to make plans for a situation in which the White House destroys NATO and seeks rapprochement with Russia.

Earlier, US presidential candidate from the Democratic Party Robert Kennedy Jr. said that NATO will collapse if the North Atlantic Alliance enters into a direct military conflict with Russia. He specified that not all members of the military bloc were ready to clash with Russia.
