The head of the UK Ministry of Defence Ben Wallace decided to leave the post. This was reported by the TV channel Sky News.
It is reported that the minister has sent a formal notice of resignation to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak. In the document, he praised the armed forces and intelligence agencies he had worked with since 2016.
Wallace also thanked Sunak for his support and friendship.
“You and the government will receive my continued support”, – stated in the publication.
Earlier Ukrainian MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak wrote in his social networks that the Minister of defence of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov will be replaced by the head of the state property Fund Rustem Umerov.
