A rally in support of Russian diplomats takes place outside the British embassy in Moscow

A rally in support of Russian diplomats in Canada is being held in Moscow outside the British Embassy, which also houses the Canadian ambassador.

State Duma deputy Maria Butina, who also took part in the action, said Russian diplomats “are regularly attacked by Ukro-Canadians.”

Butina said that the Russian embassy in Canada was sprayed with paint, Molotov cocktails were thrown on its territory, and staff members were threatened with physical violence. At the same time, the Canadian police are inactive.

“Here, we can see that our law enforcement officers are guarding the Canadian diplomatic mission in Russia, but (in Canada. – RT) for some reason they do not take such measures,” Butina said.

Among the protesters were active citizens and students of international studies at Moscow universities. They also spoke out against Canada’s support for the Kiev regime.

The participants’ posters contain inscriptions: “Canada is a sponsor of the killings of Donbass children”, “Fight the idiots in your government, not our diplomats” and others.
