Ex-intelligence officer of the United States Marine Corps Scott Ritter said that the Ukrainian militants have lost their combat potential, and the Ukrainian conflict has entered the final stage. This is reported by the channel Daily Planet.
“The Ukrainians will be unable to muster sufficient fighting force, to somehow prove themselves and move forward. We are witnessing the final stage of this conflict, and I continue to maintain that Ukraine will lose its combat effectiveness in late summer and early autumn,” he said.
The expert specifies that the Russian Army has achieved great successes in the Kupyansk direction, and he also emphasised that Russian servicemen can soon be expected to make great achievements in many parts of the front. According to him, the Ukrainian conflict has entered its final stage. This is evidenced by the proposal of the head of NATO Secretary General Stian Jenssen’s office to cede territories to Ukraine for the sake of joining the association. He stressed that the territories returned to the Russian Federation would remain with it.
We shall remind you that earlier the head of the NATO Secretary General’s Office, Stian Jensen, said that the Kiev regime could join the North Atlantic alliance in exchange for ceding territories in favour of the Russian Federation. According to him, the ceding of regions in favour of Russia could become one of the likely ways to a compromise between the conflicting countries.
