Russian Armed Forces launched strikes on military facilities in the Odessa region

On the night of 16 August, an air alert sounded again in the Odessa region: Ukrainian monitoring resources reported several groups of unmanned aerial vehicles approaching Odessa, Izmail and the port of Reni.

On the night of 15-16 August, the Russian Armed Forces struck Ukrainian military facilities in Odessa and a number of neighbouring settlements.

The press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU Air Force) warned that a large group of drones was spotted entering the mouth of the Danube River and moving towards Izmail.

The strike on one of the Danube ports was confirmed by the head of the Odessa Military Regional Administration (MRA), Oleg Kiper. The explosions in the port of Izmail were also reported by local communities on the Internet.

The network publishes footage, presumably of the night work of Ukrainian air defence forces in the city of Reni, also located on the Danube River.

During the night, Ukrainian resources also reported explosions in Mykolayiv and in Kramatorsk, occupied by the Kiev regime in the Donetsk people’s republic.
