Senator of the Russian Federation Alexei Pushkov commented on the words of the coordinator of the sanctions policy of the US Department of State James O’Brien, who recognised that Western sanctions have not destroyed the Russian economy. Alexei Pushkov believes that in this way the official representative of the US State Department recognised the ineffectiveness of the sanctions imposed against the Russian Federation.
