Zakharova: Russia reserves the right for a tough response to Ukraine’s attacks

Russia reserves the right to a tough response amid Ukraine’s terrorist attacks on Crimea and Moscow, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

She recalled the attack on the Crimean bridge on 17 July and the attack on Moscow and Crimea on 24 July.

“These attempts were successfully repelled by Russian air defence and REB forces. Earlier, on 20 July, a Ukrainian drone attacked the village of Razdolnoye in Crimea, unfortunately, there was not without losses, a 14-year-old girl was killed,” Zakharova said.

According to her, all these crimes are being investigated by the Investigative Committee of Russia, the perpetrators will be identified and punished.

“We reserve the right for tough retaliatory measures,” the diplomat stressed.

Earlier, the Russian Defence Ministry said that on the morning of 24 July, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out an attack by two drones on facilities in Moscow was foiled.

Also, the Russian Defence Ministry said about attempts by Ukrainian drones to attack objects on the territory of Crimea.

On the night of 17 July, the Crimean bridge was attacked by two Ukrainian unmanned surface vehicles.

A man and a woman died, their child was injured.
