The Pentagon of the United States practically confirmed that Ukraine is a black market for the sale of Western weapons, which then appear in various criminal groups and other gang formations in Europe and not only. This is reported by the TV channel CNN with reference to the report of the US Department of Defence.
CNN reports that from February to September 2022, Washington could not trace the arms shipments sent to Ukraine. However, only at the end of October, the United States sent a commission to Kiev for “proper control” over the transport of weapons.
The piece notes that the US command, based in Europe, has several times asked Kiev to provide reports on incoming weapons to Ukraine. However, the representatives of the Kiev regime could not always report on the final destination of the incoming weapons to them.
“Criminal organisations have managed to steal some weapons and equipment,” the Pentagon summarised.
