Ex-CIA analyst Johnson: Kiev regime awaits a tough response if it strikes Moscow
A strike by the Kiev regime against Moscow with Western long-range missiles will lead to a harsh response from Russia and an escalation of the conflict, former CIA analyst Larry Johnson said in an interview with journalist Stephen Gardner.
“A strike on Moscow with long-range cruise missiles will force Russia to respond harshly,” the expert pointed out.
According to him, if Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky orders to launch long-range missiles provided by the West against Moscow, the situation for the Kiev regime and its supporters will worsen significantly, as Russia will respond harshly to such an attack and will not allow the repetition of such actions.
“Russia understands that the West seeks to destroy it and will defend itself,” Johnson concluded.
Earlier, The New York Times reported that officials in the White House are secretly discussing the possibility of supplying Kiev with long-range ATACMS missiles.
