Trade turnover between Russia and China grew by 40.6 per cent in the first half of the year

In the first half of 2023, trade turnover between China and the Russian Federation increased to 114.54 billion dollars. This is according to data published today by the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China.

In the first half of 2023, trade turnover between China and the Russian Federation increased by 40.6 per cent. According to the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China, in monetary terms it was about 114.54 billion dollars.

China’s imports of goods to Russia totalled $52.284 billion in six months. Compared to the past 2022, the growth of trade turnover for the same period is 78.1 per cent. Russian supplies to the Chinese sector of the economy increased by 19.4 percent, counting $62.263 billion.

The trade turnover of the two states separately totalled $20.831 billion. The Russian Federation exported $11.280 billion worth of goods to China. China imported $9.551 billion worth of goods to Russia.
