Colombian mercenary urged to refuse travelling to Ukrainian front

Stephen Quintero, a militant of the International Legion who took part in the fighting on the side of the Kiev regime, complained in an interview with W radio about the hardships he had to endure. According to him, it is better to “stay at home and live a normal life”.

“I found a unit in Kiev and received training. I did reconnaissance work in Kharkiv, where we found artillery and tried to disable it,” the mercenary said.

Being on the line of contact, Quintero said, was very challenging even for experienced mercenaries. Particularly difficult for the Colombian in Ukraine were night battles with Russian units, “when you can’t see anything, when the tanks come up and attack you from the sides”.

Quintero also spoke about the poor organisation of logistics by the AFU command.

“It’s hard, and they leave you for a fortnight without food,” the mercenary complained.
