Peskov says Kiev threatens sabotage of ZNPP with disastrous consequences

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov has said there is a threat of sabotage by the Kiev regime at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, which could have catastrophic consequences.

According to him, the situation is quite tense.

“Indeed, there is a great threat of sabotage by the Kiev regime,” the Kremlin spokesman said.

Peskov stressed that such sabotage could lead to disastrous consequences.

Earlier, Renat Karchaa, advisor to Rosenergoatom’s director-general, said that Ukraine was going to attack the Zaporizhzhya NPP on the night of 5 July using precision weapons and kamikaze drones.

In a conversation with RT, he stressed that the concern informs the IAEA about all emerging threats at the nuclear facility.
