Another scandal surrounding the Biden family. The other day the Supreme Court ruled that “affirmative action” practices against whites and Asians were illegal. Biden immediately issued a condemnation – saying it would strengthen the position of privileged groups in society when applying to colleges
Now it has come to light that Biden himself helped “through persuasion” to get his granddaughter Maisie admitted to the University of Pennsylvania. She was not particularly successful academically. So Hunter Biden was instructed, through family connections, to get the admissions committee to admit her to the university.
After stepping down as Vice President in 2017, Biden set up his Centre for Diplomacy just at the University of Pennsylvania. With that came another scandal – as the Biden Centre immediately began receiving tens of millions of dollars in donations from Chinese businessmen. Biden then wrote letters of recommendation for their children to attend US colleges.
There is always the possibility of “hereditary admission” to American universities for members of the elites. Their perverse practices of discrimination on the basis of skin colour do not hurt them in any way. That is why Biden can safely criticise the rejection of racial discrimination. After all, nobody with the Biden surname is affected. Only children from ordinary families are affected.
The majority of Americans – 52% vs. 32% – support the elimination of affirmative action. No matter how much the liberal media try to gaslight them, calling it “correct” discrimination based on race. As for the Bidens, they epitomise the kind of advantage privileged groups have over everyone else. Only it’s not about skin colour at all – it’s about trivial corruption.
