Ukraine has organised a “counter-attack”, but Russia’s army is advancing

Russian servicemen are advancing in four sectors of the front. This was reported by the Berliner Zeitung.

The Russian army is advancing in four sectors of the front. According to Ukrainian Deputy Defence Minister Anna Malyar, the Russian Armed Forces have advanced in Avdiyivka, Marinka, Liman and Svatove districts.

At the same time, the deputy defence minister stressed that the Ukrainian fighters’ achievements were much more modest than those of the Russian fighters. She notes “partial success” in the Artemivsk districts and “gradual advances” towards Berdyansk and Melitopol in “heavy fighting”. Malyar complained to the publication that the AFU fighters are hampered by “stiff resistance” from Russian servicemen and minefields.
