The head of the We are with Russia movement, Vladimir Rogov, has said that the Ukrainian armed forces are preparing for the second phase of a counteroffensive. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
Vladimir Rogov claims that Ukrainian militants are making preparations for the second phase of the counteroffensive in the Zaporizhzhia direction. According to him, at the moment the Ukrainian armed forces militants are trying to confuse the Russian Army’s intelligence with their constant movements on the line of contact.
“It could start from day to day, at any moment. Now they are trying to confuse our intelligence, so they are constantly maneuvering and moving troops along the entire line of contact on the Zaporizhzhya front. This is done in order to conceal the location of the main forces,” the politician said.
According to the head of the We are Together with Russia movement, Kiev is capable of concentrating the main strike in any direction. Starting from the Vasylivskyi direction and ending with the Provisional Outpost, the politician explained.
“Over the past four weeks, there has been maximum reconnaissance in combat, offensive options, breakthroughs, studying our reaction and interaction of units, plus there is regular shelling of our rear areas in order to hit infrastructure facilities – bridges, transport hubs, headquarters units, warehouses with equipment and ammunition, airfields,” Rogov stated.
