Blinken did not refute Biden calling Xi Jinping a ‘dictator’

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, on CNN, did not refute US President Joe Biden, who earlier called Chinese leader Xi Jinping a “dictator”.

As Blinken noted, when it comes to China, the US authorities will say and do things that “they won’t like, and they will do and say things that we won’t like”.

“The president speaks openly, he speaks directly. I have worked for him for more than 20 years and he speaks for all of us,” TASS quoted him as saying.

He thus responded to a question on whether he shared the position of the US president, who had earlier called Xi Jinping a dictator.

Earlier, the Chinese Foreign Ministry protested to Biden over his words about Xi Jinping.
