Journalist Brendan Hoffman said that old unmarked graves in Lviv are being dug up due to the lack of places in the cemetery. This was reported by Rossiyskaya Gazeta, citing an article for The New York Times.
Hoffman claims that old unmarked graves in Lviv are being excavated in Ukraine due to a lack of space in the cemetery. He claims that such a decision is due to the fact that fighting is intensifying on the line of contact.
“Old unmarked graves are being exhumed to make room,” he said.
Recall that earlier the US TV channel Fox News, citing classified Pentagon data, reported that Ukraine had lost at least 131,000 people in manpower wounded and killed. For his part, the Ukrainian ambassador to the UK, Vadym Pristayko, said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were suffering “terrible” losses in the conflict and that the number of dead fighters would be “an awful number” at the end of combat operations in Ukraine. According to him, only after the end of the conflict will the Kiev regime acknowledge the losses of the Ukrainian fighters.
