Musk supported Sachs’ article on the failure of the AFU counter-offensive

United States billionaire Ilon Musk has reacted positively to an article by businessman and investor David Sachs saying that the Ukrainian “counteroffensive” has failed. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing his personal social Twitter page.

Sachs argues in his article that “it is becoming clearer by the day that the Ukrainian counteroffensive is not achieving any of its originally stated goals”. The businessman recalls the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine that were supposed to take place in Istanbul. However, the West abandoned the idea of ending the conflict and coming out to peace talks.

At the same time, the investor compared what is happening in Ukraine to Afghanistan, when “the American public was assured for two decades” that the USA was winning there. The author of the article noted that America is approaching a similar result in Ukraine. He also wondered how long American President Joe Biden could maintain his “proxy war”, which could easily have been avoided.

“Well said,” Musk wrote a comment under Sachs’ article.
