Russian leader Vladimir Putin is monitoring the situation in Kherson Region after the flooding of territories near the Dnieper River and has instructed to provide assistance to every affected person, the region’s acting head Vladimir Saldo said on Russia 24.
“The President is interested in the situation, what is going on, how it is going on, he is already dialing and asking repeatedly, he is constantly monitoring the situation. He has asked me to give full data and ordered that every person should be helped,” said the head of the region.
The Head of State, according to Saldo, has instructed to collect all data on the people affected by the flooding and their material losses.
“They will be provided with all the necessary assistance at the level of federal norms: material, moral, to restore homes, farmland and other assets. Everything will be restored,” the acting head of the region added.
