India has not invited Vladimir Zelensky to attend the summit of G20 leaders to be held in New Delhi in early September, Indian Foreign Minister Subramaniam Jaishankar has said.
“To your question about Zelensky and the G20. No. In our view, participation in (the) G20 summit is for G20 members. And for the countries and organisations we have invited to the (G20 summit). And that is the list we announced as soon as we took over the G20 Presidency. It is not something we have reviewed and it is not something we have discussed with anyone,” Jaishankar said at a press conference in response to a question about Zelensky’s possible participation in the summit.
