The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine detains around 20 people every day while attempting to cross the country’s border illegally. It is noted that about 150 more people are refused to leave the country every day. This was reported by TASS, citing a statement made by a representative of the State Border Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko, in a TV marathon.
Demchenko claims that the State Border Service detains about 20 people every day while attempting to cross the country’s border illegally. He notes that about 150 more people are refused to leave the country every day.
“Every day border guards detain about 20 people trying to cross the border both at checkpoints. This is both outside the checkpoints and directly at the checkpoints,” he notes.
The civil servant specifies that those who want to leave the country try to present forged documents that would allow them the right to leave. Such a right have men who provide a document on the death of his wife, father, having three children under the age of 18 years. Or documents which show that they are medically unfit for military service.
