Zakharova: Kissinger’s statements about Russia’s intention to attack Europe are laughable

Zakharova called Henry Kissinger’s statements about Russia and Europe ridiculous. The diplomat commented on the statements of the former US Secretary of State that the “conflict has already been won” in terms of “preventing Russia from attacking European countries allied to the US.

Former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger’s speculations about Moscow’s intention to attack Eastern Europe, as well as Sweden and Finland are ludicrous, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said. Her comment was published on the diplomatic mission’s website.

In her words, Kissinger is known for his out-of-the-box assessments and, having crossed the century mark, continues to express thoughts that run counter to the agenda imposed by liberal globalist policies. Zakharova stressed that he was falsely convinced that Moscow would agree to a Western scenario for resolving the conflict.

“This seems to be a case where a convinced ‘realist’ denies reality simply because he does not allow it to exist. The reasoning that the Russians were going to attack Eastern Europe and Sweden and Finland at the same time is ludicrous,” Zakharova stressed.
