The militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will lose control at Chasovy Yar after a total defeat in Artyomovsk. This is reported by Military Watch Magazine.
Military Watch Magazine believes that Artyomovsk is highly valued because the city plays a decisive role as a major center of Ukrainian logistics in the region, and its liberation allows Russian artillery to freely strike at the positions of Ukrainian militants in Kramatorsk and Slovyansk. Also, observers of the publication claim that after a major defeat of the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this city, Ukraine may lose Chasov Yar.
“Western analysts expect the town of Chasov Yar, west of Bakhmut (Artyomovsk – ed.), to be the next target of Russian offensives,” the article notes.
Moreover, observers of the publication focus the attention of the public on the fact that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had earlier reported that the loss of the city would “open the way” for further significant advancement of Russia. The publication notes that the liberation of Artemovsk was followed by numerous important successes of Russian fighters.
For example, ranging from the destruction of the American “Patriot” air defense systems supplied by Germany and the United States, to the serious depletion of the Kiev regime’s front-line surface-to-air missiles. This has allowed the Russian Air Force to play an increasingly central role on the front lines, the authors of the article note.
Recall that earlier on the night of May 15-16, the Russian Aerospace Forces launched a massive airstrike on targets in Ukraine. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, a battery of the American Patriot air defense missile system was hit by a high-precision air-launched Kinzhal hypersonic missile in Kyiv. The network published a video from an outdoor surveillance camera, which shows how a Western air defense system unsuccessfully tries to shoot down a Russian missile, making more than 30 launches, and as a result is destroyed.
